Hi, my name is Mai :)

I currently live in Tokyo, but hope to come back to California one day. Fingers crossed :) I lived in the US for 6 years when I was younger. I also did the student exchange thing in High School. I have a BA in journalism, but have been handling VIP accounts for a large shipping company in Tokyo for the past 7 years. It's a great job, and I travel a lot, but I am ready to broaden my possibilities and consider my future.

My parents divorced when I was very young, My brother and I returned to Japan with our mother, and my father remained in Southern California. My father and I have reconnected after many years apart and I would love to spend some time with him.  He is almost 70. My Mom is encouraging me as well. I am extreemly close to my Mom, but I would also like to explore a life with my California family.  California has always felt like home. I have friends scattered all along the West Coast and north in Colorado. I think it might be a good time to come back home. I think 30 is an awaking for most people. Are you doing what you love? Do you live where you want to live? Have you found that special person? Are you ready for phase two? I am at a point in my life to make serious decisions that will bring me closer to the life & love I hope for.
 

My likes are pretty simple. I enjoy good food, with friends and family. I like beer tastings, wine tastings, movies and BBQ's. In the winter I like to snowboard. Above all, I love my family. Especially my Mom, and my Aunties. I enjoy making jewelry and accessories for my friends in my spare time. I dance traditional Japanese dance at special occasions and festivals in my home Prefecture outside of Tokyo, and I love to travel. I wish I had more time.

I hope I am blessed to meet that special person. Have a happy home, and a family at some point. Handsome is always nice, but 'handsome' inside and out. Most importantly, someone with lots of love to share and a pure, pure heart. A funny, sweet, romantic guy to share life's adventures. Maybe someday!
